Well said. Peterson is the poster boy for everything wrong with the viral social petrie dishes of today. It is not him or his beliefs, but the echo chambers we’ve created around political correctness. I’m no fan of this man, but neither can I hate him for doing what we all do, having thoughts about important things. The difference is, he has managed to garner the attention and so becomes a kind of negative cause célèbre. It is my belief that we should pay attention to people like him and examine their ideas, rather than outright condemn them without analysis. Peterson has been interviewed at least twice by Joe Rogan’s podcast and I recommend critical thinkers listen to that and see what they make of it. There are many people in this world with whom I disagree, including family, but I don’t block everything they say or think out.
