Feeds are a way of personalizing your Bluesky experience. Feeds are based on hashtags. What you see in a feed is the same as clicking on the hashtag #OriginalMusicTracks. The difference is that you can have the link to the feed on the left Feeds menu and the right and top feeds lists. One click shows the whole feed.

For musicians who post their tracks

This is where the difference matters. We are currently a handful of Bluesky musicians who post our tracks. In out group, we repost each other’s tracks, giving a significant signal boost. You can participate in the group by clicking the heart icon on the feed in the about tab.

The sequence:

  1. Click the # at the bottom
  2. Find the “Discover New Feed” field and type Original Music Tracks.
  3. Add it with the plus sign +
  4. Click the About tab
  5. Click the ❤️

Now, when you post a track with #OriginalMusicTracks, if you are participating, that is you’re on the list and have reposted anyone else that day, several people will repost your track.

There’s no better way to triple or quadruple the number who see your posts. There are also folks who are watching the #OriginalMusicTracks hashtag.

I hope this clears things up for those who haven’t used feeds yet. It’s one of Bluesky’s best features.
