Fear and anger

How it spreads through you and me

Some think they are informing by constant daily linking to negative articles with clickbait titles, when, in reality, they are part of the problem: adding to the sea of pollution in our lives. Anger and fear are the human refuse that pollute the Internet, and hence, modern life today. While concentrated on Facebook and Twitter, the same concept can be found everywhere from in-person conversation (repeating unconfirmed stories we’ve read about), depending on who you frequent, to all public platforms.

For many months, I ran a feed of constructive information on Twitter (have a peek) and Google+ (you can’t, it’s dead), but here’s the cover image.

The Google+ collection had over 41,000 subscribers. Its purpose was to demonstrate numerous efforts to alleviate overfishing and pollution in the planet’s oceans. There is much progress in this area, but there is a lot of work to do. The idea of showing those positive efforts was twofold:

Bring the people and organizations taking action to public awareness so that those who are concerned could either take part of support them.
Show the sources of this information, that is…
